Looking of a white board ex toe kick about 31-32 inches long - 4-6 inches wide to mount on a wall. From an old laminated shelf etc.

The hooks for kids jackets are pulling ouf of wallboard so I want to screw a white board to wall that the hooks can be screwed into.
Maybe from an old cupboard or shelf?
